Tori Senior ~ Can You Take it Higher

Tori Senior ~ Can You Take it Higher

another senior shoot. this time with Tori.. she was my representative for my photography last year.

this was my first time working with tori, a cheerleader in her high school.. thus her leaping is so amazing..

i lighted this with a speed light in a westcott 28 inch softbox.. it produces amazing light.. why is it so good?

it is 28 x 28.. so it is a large light source
it has side control barn like doors.. it focuses the light to where you want and doesn't spray

cons.. it isn't durable.. so if i break one, will i buy another one? yes ! it is worth it for me..
another con is it is difficult to work with. if you need to change the light power, you have to open it up to change your settings.. oh well get it right the first time and don't worry about it. he he..

also this was when i was learning off camera flash in full manual..

i am telling you it was the best thing i could have ever done.. learn off camera flash in manual.

now i have knowledge to shape the light the way i want in most situations, a speed light will work..

by working with tori on multiple shoots, i was able to gain the surrounding high schools attention with my photography and i had more clients..
