Lisa and Randal's Wedding Shot..
i always try to get the couple out of the reception to get a night time out door shot if possible..
it is tricky to get the bride away from her guests so you have to be prepared..
here is what i do to minimize time and prepare..
1. scout out your location
2. get your lighting system ready and test fire your shot so you know your settings before..
3. get your light boomer prepped and have them walk with you to get the bride and groom..
so with this prep.. the shot should only take 3 takes and then you can release the couple back to their guests..
lighting here was Radio poppers and single 580 EX with Gel in a 28 inch westcott softbox boomed camera right by the Maid of honor about 6 feet away, all ettl so power of the flash is probably 1/64 or 1/128 if i had to guess..
